Goddey Iwebuke Daniel is a trained teacher. He studied at the Federal College of Education (Tech.) Akoka, Yaba, Lagos where he obtained NCE (Tech.) Accounting. Thereafter, he obtained Executive Management Accountancy Certificate from the University of Lagos under the Federal Treasury School Programme known as Treasury Stage III. He later attended the Achievers University, Owo where he obtained a Bachelor of Science (Bsc) in Accountants and later became a Fellow of the Institute. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.

He joined the Service of the Federal Government in 1979 in the Office of the Auditor-General for the Federation and retired as Deputy Director (Audit) in 2014. During his 35 years of service, he carried out audit assignments in nearly all the MDAs including military formations, CBN, NNPC, Federation Accounts and Federal Government Financial Statements, e.t.c .

Being a teacher, he has been lecturing Public Sector Accounting in the Tertiary Institution in Nigeria on part-time basis and regularly serves as resource person in seminars and workshops organized by professional bodies and many other consultants. He also served as a consultant to FAAC-Sub-Committee on IPSAS that carried out the training of account officers throughout the country.

Soon after his retirement, he established Iwe Peace Consult, a consultancy outfit. He is also a partner in the firm of Emeke Nwabuzor (Chartered Accountants). In appreciation of his wealth of experience, he was appointed in 2015 as an Executive Member representing Delta North in Delta State Board of Internal Revenue where serves till date.

He is an accomplished author, great family man and a devout Christian. He is married and the marriage is blessed with wonderful children.
